Hanna Getachew-Kreusser

Hanna Getachew-Kreusser is a visionary leader committed to fostering inclusive leadership, resolving conflicts, and promoting holistic growth within individuals and organizations. She is notable BOPIC Excecutive, named Black Leader you should know in 2023, and awared the 2024 for excellence in multicultural mentoring by twin cities business magazine. As the CEO of the HeartMind Restoration, Hanna leverages over 20 years of experience in organizational leadership, restorative practices, and multicultural engagement to drive the company’s mission forward.

With a background in Organizational Leadership, Nonprofit Management, and Conflict Resolution, Hanna has dedicated her career to empowering leaders and communities through innovative, evidence-based approaches. She has a proven track record of transforming organizations by cultivating cultures of empathy, collaboration, and accountability. Her leadership is characterized by a relentless focus on equity, inclusion, and the belief that true transformation occurs when diverse perspectives are valued and embraced.

Hanna has spearheaded numerous successful initiatives throughout her career, from developing cutting-edge leadership training programs to leading complex mediation efforts in diverse environments. She is a respected thought leader in the field, known for blending strategic vision with practical implementation, ensuring that the company’s programs and services meet and exceed the needs of its clients and communities.

Hanna holds a Masters’ degree in behavioral science counseling and psychological services from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelors’ degree in international business and psychology from Gustavus Adolphus, with continuing education in public policy and board/commission leadership. She is also a Qualified Neutral Restorative Family Mediator in the State of Minnesota. She serves on numerous community advocacy committees including Ramsey County Workforce Innovation Board, State Children’s mental Health Cultural Competency Committee, and St. Paul Ramsey Community Health Advisory Committee.

Hanna’s leadership is guided by the core belief that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth, and by working together with empathy and respect, we can build a more just and compassionate world.
